Being embroiled in the center of a wedding can take its toll on you, from the stresses and rigors of flying (even higher when I’m involved) to coordinating guests to endless lists after lists, it can take its toll physically, mentally, and emotionally. Would I have it any other way? Not really. I’m having the time of my life and realize how fortunate I am to be marrying my best friend. But in every time of madness, we all need to sit back and think. Reflect. That’s my purpose here.
The flight? Didn’t kill me. In fact, I ended up enjoying it a great deal once I got past takeoff (turns out my real fear is takeoff, not flight itself). There’s a lesson to be learned there – getting something off the ground can be rough, turbulent, and scary, but once you get it going it can be one of the most rewarding things that you can experience.
Vegas is overwhelming, no doubt. So many options, so much to see all at once. It’s even more overwhelming than New York. I’m also absolutely convinced that I need to properly set a tale here.
And pictures! So many photo opportunities. If you’re interested in seeing my photos, please follow me on Instagram and I’d be happy to follow you back there! I’m rapidly following in love with it as a social media site. I will talk about it next week.
